What follows is a list of most commonly asked questions by both Job Seekers and employers. If you have a question that is not discussed on this page, please contact us to direct your question to the appropriate representative.

Q: What is the posting process

A: If you are not already registered on the site, you will have to enter the company information, some profile information and a user profile that will become the administrator. You will receive an email confirmation within 48h or we will contact you to activate the account. After the account is activated, you will have access to the employer area where you will create new postings. You will be able to buy posting packages online with your credit card.

Q: What criteria are used to filter candidates

A: Candidates are filtered based on the profile entered in the job posting. Candidates can be filtered by schooling, years of experience, positions and keywords.

Q: what are the Benefits?

A: You will have access to more then 30 000 candidates that are professionals of the life science and pharmaceutical industries. You will not compete with head hunters or be called by them as the site is dedicated to employers. Additionally, the search for the best candidate is made easy by sorting by date, score or pre-selection questions.

Q: How do I access the candidates

A: To access the applicants, proceed to the employers section. The applicants can be found through List Posted Jobs and selecting the number of answers. You can also set your profile to be sent an email for each new candidate. You will then be able to access the resume through a link in the email.

Q: How do I get the maximum out of my posting

A: You should make your searches as wide as possible without targeting outside of related fields. Some candidates will not display their whole curriculum in their profile. You should target candidates that have experience leading to the position that you are looking for as well as positions that are typical cross field paths of development.

Q: How much does the employer service cost?

A: Prices for employers vary depending on the number of job postings, prices are competitive and in line with other unspecialized job posting sites.

Q: Who will have access to the career opportunities?

A: Registered Job Seekers will have access to the information you include in your job postings.

Q: Can postings be edited?

A: No, the principle features (title, location) are fixed and cannot be changed. The employer may however modify the search criteria.

Q: How long will our job postings stay in the system?

A: Unless you remove it, your job postings will remain active for a period of 60 days.

Q: How long will I have access to the candidates from one of my POSTINGS?

A: You will have one month after the posting’s end period to access your candidates. After this period, the candidates will not be available anymore.

Q: How do we find out which Job Seekers have applied for our job opportunity?

A: When companies post career opportunities, the system automatically searches the database and identifies all qualified Job Seekers. These Job Seekers are sent an e-mail describing the opportunity and are invited to apply. You will receive notification regarding those qualified Job Seekers that have expressed an interest in your opportunity. To view those candidates you only have to go to the Employer section and select “View Job Postings”.

Q: What does it cost to post my resume?

A: There is no charge for Job Seekers to post their resumes and use the career search features.

Q: Who will see my CV?

A: Only employers for jobs that you apply for will see your personal information and your resume.

Q: Who are the employers?

A: Employers on this site are strictly from the health sciences and the pharmaceutical industry.

Q: What are the Benefits?

You can review job offers from many companies in one site. Most job offers that are posted on private corporate sites will be displayed on this site if it is allowed. Additionally, you are provided with a desired job profile that makes it easier to find positions you want to move to in addition to positions you already have experience with.

Q: How do I register?

A: You register by going to the job seeker profile section and selecting pressing “new user registration”. After you enter your profile, you will be sent an email to validate your email address and activate your account.

Q: How to upload my Resume?

A: When you create of review your profile, you will see on the last page a browse button below the text area to fill in with a text version of your resume required for the search engine. By clicking on the browse button, you will be able to select a file from your computer to upload. You will not see your resume until you have saved your profile.

Q: Can my boss see my profile?

A: No! Because there are no head hunters on this site, you will know which employer is posting the job. Employers only see the resume of candidates that apply for the position even if you receive job postings from your employer.

Q: Is there a way to change the details of my profile?

A: If you wish to modify the facts of your personal information or job profile, simply enter your password in the “Job Seeker profile” section. Once your profile appears, you are free to alter the fields and re-submit the information, overwriting your previous data. This process can be repeated as often as you wish until you are satisfied with the details.

Q: How long will my profile stay in the system?

A: Unless you request to have it removed, your profile will remain active.

Q: Who has access to the database of Job Seekers?

A: When a company posts an opportunity, they can review “short profiles” that DO NOT INCLUDE personal contact information such as name and address or the name of present and past employers. You must apply for a position to reveal your identity and full profile/resume details. No company has access to the Job Seeker database.

Q: Am I able to submit more than one profile?

A: Each individual may submit only one profile, though you are able to make changes to it whenever you please. You can also go to the Job Agent section to select the profile of the job you are looking for.
