The Financing Working Group
Mandate
Analyze the legislative, regulatory, and commercial environments locally, provincially, and nationally and their impacts on the financing of the innovation chain in LSHT;
Stand a position on issues that can stimulate the investment in our sector.
Issues
Foster the emergence of an integrated financing ecosystem for companies at every phase of the innovation process;
Propose projects and actions that can facilitate capital investment in the LSHT sector of Greater Montreal.
Projects
Foster the investment of large LSHT companies in our local SMEs;
Launch a study on the state of the financing of the innovation chain in LSHT;
Increase the number of companies eligible to SR&ED tax credits;
Analyze the impact of creating a flow through shares program in our sector.
