The Technology Transfer Working Group
Mission
Identify strategies to allow optimal transfer of university-created innovations to industry.
Challenges
When it comes to identifying the new technologies that are most mature and of significant commercial potential, insufficient account is taken of the technological demands of the main Quebec companies active in R&D;
Situated between the stages of validation and clinical development 2, the current process of maturity and technology transfer lacks funds, specific expertise and experienced project managers;
Lack of support for the growth of young Quebec companies, particularly in the medical equipment sector, which operates in a complex and international environment.
