Dear Ecosystem,
The year 2025 was a pivotal one for Montréal InVivo and for the life sciences and health technologies ecosystem. It was marked in particular by a significant leadership transition, which I had the privilege of joining last March, as well as by strong community mobilization around structuring and unifying events.
EFFERVESCENCE 2025, which brought together more than 500 participants, Talent InVivo initiatives dedicated to the next generation, the LSHT networking events, and the completion of strategic studies on key issues such as AI in healthcare and corporate financing all reflect the vitality, commitment, and maturity of our ecosystem.
Building on our outreach efforts, we will also continue our international engagement, following our participation in two economic missions in 2025, to Boston and Vienna, which provided valuable opportunities to showcase Québec expertise and forge new collaborations.
The year 2025 was also marked by the announcement of the renewal of the Québec Life Sciences Strategy 2025–2028, unveiled very recently. This new strategy, supported by major investments, comes at a crucial time. In an economic and geopolitical context that remains complex, it lays a solid foundation to support business growth, stimulate innovation, strengthen local production, and facilitate access to markets, both at home and internationally.
At Montréal InVivo, we are firmly committed to actively contributing to the implementation of this strategy and to supporting the achievement of its ambitions. It is in this spirit that 2026 begins, with promising initiatives, including the launch of BioHorizon—our new two-day bilingual international event, developed in collaboration with BIOQuébec and taking place next October. Designed as a true hub for connections, collaboration, and visibility, BioHorizon aims to strengthen Québec’s positioning on the national and international life sciences and health technologies stage.
The year 2026 will also be particularly meaningful for Montréal InVivo, as we will celebrate our 20th anniversary—two decades in service of the life sciences and health technologies ecosystem—which we will mark with a dedicated celebration later this year.
I look forward to everything we will accomplish together in this milestone year.
