Farah is responsible for the Entrepreneurship InVivo Project and EFFERVESCENCE Startup Pitch Competition committees. She also coordinates Montréal InVivo’s service offering for entrepreneurs in the life sciences and health technologies sector, including the BIOSUCCÈS mentoring network, and develops initiatives related to digital health and artificial intelligence.

Holding more than 25 years of experience in the life sciences sector, Mr. Béraud has particularly acquired a solid expertise in business development. With a background in sales and marketing within multinationals in the field of clinical diagnostics, his career path has led him to assume responsibility for business development for an SME in the domain of biotechnology, in addition to working as a consultant within the industry as well as a technology transfer organization. Mr. Béraud has also worked on managing the policies and strategic development of an industrial association in the life sciences sector before joining Montréal InVivo’s team. Highly socially engaged in education, the health and homelessness, he currently chairs the board of directors of the charitable organization Cancer Computer, which aims to provide leading researchers with the computing power of refurbished supercomputers.

Robin joined us at the end of 2021. Previously responsible for the development and implementation of the Montreal Industrial Expertise Centre, he is now Director – Life Sciences Innovation Integration within our team. Robin has a scientific background in biotechnology and several years of experience in the field of innovation. He is also a former snowboarder ! A passion that he now likes to transmit and teach to help young people discover the joys of the outdoors in winter.

Student representative at Montréal InVivo since April 2018, Alizée now supports our Director – Business Development – on projects in connected health and artificial intelligence in health. Alizée also contributes to our projects on skills and talent development. She has distinguished herself by her thoroughness, her curiosity and her efficiency at work. At the same time, she juggles specialized graduate studies in organizational development (DESS) at HEC Montréal and its implications with the Dialogue Sciences et Politique association as well as the Young International Cell Senescence Association (yICSA).

Having joined the team in October 2021 as an event project manager, Laurence is mainly responsible for the coordination and development of the event EFFERVESCENCE – The Future of Life Sciences.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Concordia University, Laurence has worked in the cultural field, organizing artistic and musical events such as POP Montreal, OFFTA, and MUTEK. Through her experiences, she has developed a strong sense of organization and priorities as well as a great capacity for flexibility. In her spare time, Laurence enjoys reading and making musical discoveries.

Joining the team at the begining of 2021, Ève quickly integrated into the team despite the barriers of the virtual world. Her attention to detail and perfectionism allow him to manage multiple daily communications projects. A former college basketball player, Ève is now involved in the sports community, coaching and supporting the athletes of tomorrow.

Claudie is responsible for project committees dealing with workforce, training and succession issues. She oversees and participates in projects such as the Continuum data science qualification pathway and the mobilisation of expertise in biofabrication. A member of the team since July 2019, her passion for Rugby is transposed into her work. She is a true team player, always ready to lend a hand and collaborate. This year, Claudie is also involved in the Life Sciences Entrepreneurship Development Program and the Vistascience job development platform, for which Montréal InVivo is the initiator.

Arrived in the summer of 2018 as part of an internship, Véronique quickly stood out for the quality of her work. With the completion of her master’s degree in communication, Véronique now devotes herself to communications for Montréal InVivo full-time. As Director of Communications, she is responsible for branding the organization and plans to communicate with the life sciences industry. Bold, creative and efficient, Véronique develops and implements communication strategies within Montreal InVivo in addition to taking care of projects on equity, diversity and inclusion in the life sciences. It also manages the organization of the EFFERVESCENCE event.

When she has time, Véronique takes care of her little family of animals, Jules and Porto, and clears her mind by playing volleyball.
