The Montreal Chapter of the Canada Eurasia Russia Business Association (CERBA) is pleased to invite you to explore business development opportunities in the life sciences, healthcare, and telemedicine sectors of Russia.
Taking into account the current market trends, there are four main ways of doing business with Russia:
- cooperation with the Russian distributors
- localization of production (construction of all necessary infrastructure from scratch/ cooperation with the Russian manufacturer/transfer of technologies)
- joining medical and pharmaceutical clusters
- buying/acquiring an already existing business on the territory of Russia
We will specifically cover the countries’ regulation, intellectual property, and the ability to protect it; the education of and availability of an expert workforce; infrastructure and the countries’ R&D programs.
