Yesterday, the Premier of Quebec announced a $ 2.5 billion plan to help Quebec businesses and support the local economy.
During his press conference, the Minister of Economy and Innovation notably underlined the importance of the life sciences sector in Quebec.
“The key sectors of aerospace and life sciences, artificial intelligence are the engines of the economy that will allow us to start again. We must ensure that these sectors do not stop”, said Quebec’s Minister of Economy and Innovation, Pierre Fitzgibbon.

Temporary concerted action program for businesses (PACTE)
Eligible businesses, including cooperatives, not-for-profit organizations and social economy businesses engaged in commercial activities, can benefit from financial support to compensate for the lack of liquidity associated with COVID-19 due to:
- a problem of supply of raw materials or products;
- an impossibility or a reduction in the delivery capacity of products or services.
Financial assistance of a minimum amount of $ 50,000 in the form of a loan and loan guarantee.
